I’m Becca — a sociological researcher and creative writer interested in culture, community, and subcultural identity within fandom spaces.

I have experience in qualitative analysis, digital community engagement, and audience insight. I apply sociological perspectives to understand cultural communities and translate that into accessible content.

When I'm not pondering social phenomena within popular fandom subcultures, I can be found writing down the imaginings that live in my head into half-complete scripts, short stories, blogs or poetry. I also enjoy crochet and creating yarn sculptures, piecing together digital decoupage art, and tinkering with video editing.
